2nd grader, Parker, needed a role model. He recently lost his father, and he was struggling academically and socially. Ben, a Piqua High School student was paired with Parker. Ben dedicated an hour per week to spend with Parker at his school. Together, they developed a shared love for football and over the course of 18 months, Parker’s self-confidence improved. Thank you, Ben, for going the extra mile to encourage Parker each week, and giving him the gift of one hour of your time for nearly a year and a half. You’ve left a big impact not only on Parker, but on the whole Piqua Community. Good luck at The Ohio State University!
